This has to be one of the most beautiful Substack newsletters I’ve ever read. And I think so many of us will resonate and feel every word written here Faima
i feel you! this is how i felt when i watched that episode too and the realisation that romance is a form of rizq too shocked me also and also scared me. but alhamdulillah, your insight into what blessings being umarried (at the moment!!!😉) come into your life is beautiful. may Allah reward you for all your good deeds, Ameen. and may He grant you a smart, funny, deen conscious muslim man, Allahumma Ameen.
Ameen Ameen! Haha thank you my dear sister. May Allah grant you the desires of your heart too inshallah. Regardless of whether it happens or not we are still so blessed alhamdulillah alhamdulillah
I love this reflection on this series! It brought me immense comfort as well and helped me realize what matters in this world. Loneliness is hard but Maryam (RA) was also not married and she was a devout Muslimah. We are capable of being enough on our own so long as we have Allah. Of course we are encouraged to try to seek marriage as a part of our deen as well. May Allah grant you a husband better than what you could've ever imagined in this dunya and in the Jannah, Insha'Allah!
I love this “So when we grow frustrated because it feels like our duaas are not being answered, remember that Allah could actually be saving you from a bad marriage, He could give you something better than what you ask, avert a calamity from your or your family, or He could be waiting to give it to you in Jannah. “ 💕
You’re on your journey, there is no ‘right’ age to meet someone. I’ve spoken to a lot of women who regret tying the knot early - wishing that they had more life experience before they had settled.Just focus on being the best version of yourself and let go of things you can’t control 💜
